It has been a wild ride this past year for the experimental multi-genre music producer and electronic musician, Steven Ellison or as he is better known on stage as the Flying Lotus. His first shows of his Flying Lotus’ 3D tour included a sold out show at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery with special guests Thundercat and Hannibal Buress and some Berkeley dates that had Solange and Earl Sweatshirt performing. Now, Flying Lotus is presenting his new music video and song “Post Requisite” with a trippy video with some crazy animation.

The stop-motion animation music video was directed by Winston Hacking, and is his first music video in two years. The track was previously shared on SoundCloud and served as the theme music for the producer’s debut feature-length film Kuso which was released earlier this year. “Post Requisite” is another music video by Flying Lotus that makes the viewer feel like they are tripping heavily. There are a lot of strange and vivid images that you just need to see in order to understand what is taking place and even then, it may not make sense.
