“Some Loud Thunder” Tenth Anniversary Reissue will also be out on November 24, 2017, so it’s safe to say this band is on tour to support it. The reissue will be available digitally, as well as on CD and vinyl, and it will include five bonus live tracks, according to Pitchfork.

Doors to the event open at 7 pm, and the event will start at 8 pm. The event is ages 18 and over. Spanning 21 dates over multiple countries, California will have four dates but only one in LA. Tickets are going to sell fast, so make sure you get yours as soon as you can.

Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is the indie rock project of musician Alec Ounsworth. The group was founded in 2004 and has released four successful albums.

The band members first met in college and formed their group shortly after; they were one of the first bands to get their big break via the internet after posting demos listeners and critics raved about. This garnered them attention from record label Witchita, who released their self titled debut in 2005.

Their pleasant indie rock vibe was well met by the media upon the release of their debut. Pitchfork said the band “traffics in melodic, exuberant indie rock that pairs the shimmering, wafting feel of Yo La Tengo with singular vocal presence that sounds like Paul Banks attempting to yodel through Jeff Mangum’s throat.” Pitchfork also called the album “consistently, remarkably strong.”

The follow-up in 2007 was titled Some Loud Thunder, which was also met with high praise. The album ended up being their last before a temporary hiatus, which ended in 2011 with the release of Hysterical. In 2014, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah released Only Run, following up with an new album after another three years. Earlier this year, the band released a new album, The Tourist.
