Gorillaz Release New Song “Garage Palace” Featuring Little Simz

Gorillaz have released new song called “Garage Palace” featuring Little Simz, as mentioned by Spin. “Garage Palace” is one of several previously unreleased bonus tracks that surface on the “super deluxe,” 14-record vinyl box set edition of Humanz. The 23 year old U.K. rapper Little Simz is touring with Gorillaz and made an appearance at the band’s Demon Dayz Festival in England this summer.

Co-founder, vocalist, instrumentalist, and principal songwriter Damon Albarn presented the song on the Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show and also teased about a new upcoming song “Hollywood” and collaborations with Flume and Mike WiLL Made-it. Before “Garage Palace” was introduced on the show, Albarn kept us up to date with his recent doings. He revealed that he is recording a new follow-up album for The Good, The Bad and The Queen, explaining that the backing tracks for all the songs are finished and the vocals are currently in progress.
