In addition to the return of Auckland City Limits, C3 Presents (Austin City Limits, Lollapalooza) has announced the creation of a new festival: Sydney City Limits. With the help of Live Nation and Secret Sounds, C3 Presents has organized a jam packed lineup for the festival, which will take place February 24th of next year. The lineup included artists like: Beck, Justice, Grace Jones, The Head and the Heart, George Ezra and Vance Joy. Singer-songwriter Vance Joy, will replace the rock pop group, The Libertines. Although there are a few other lineup changes, many of the artists will play at both festivals. Among those playing both shows are: the disco-pop legend, Grace Jones, the electronic French duo, Justice, the multi-instumentalist Americana singer, Beck, indie-folk group The Head and the Heart and alt-rock solo artist Georgie Ezra.
As with the other City Limits festivals, there will also be family friendly activities and booths for local art and cuisine. The festival will be hosted at Centennial Park in Australia. Tickets go on sale on November 1st on the festival’s website.
