Bishop Briggs Releases Wes Anderson-Inspired Video for “Dream”

Bishop Briggs releases new video for “Dream” directed by Dano Cerny. The video features Briggs in a endless dream where she finds the courage and strength to overcome darkness. The London artist is best known for her hit single “River” which cumulated over 40 million global streams and rose to #3 on the Alternative chart. She is currently on tour with Alt-J and Bleachers.

“I’m really proud of this music video. I feel like Dano very fearlessly dove into the mindset of a dream sequence; full of characters and haunting visuals. It was really important that “Dream” kept the balance of strength and total vulnerability – which was my exact headspace when it was being written. It’s a rare moment when you truly feel that the visual matches the words you’ve written on the paper but I think Dano proves that there can be perfect harmony between the worlds.” – Bishop Briggs

“Dream” will be included on Bishop’s highly anticipated debut album, set to release in Spring 2018. Watch “Dream” below.

I composed music for a few months in college while living in New York which further sparked my passion for a career in the music industry. Live music is one of my all time favorite things to experience; First Avenue is my favorite venue, might be bias since I was born and raised in Minnesota. Happy ears, happy years.
