Twiggy Ramirez of Marilyn Manson Accused of Rape by Jack Off Jill Singer

This story contains graphic detail of sexual assault and rape that may be disturbing to some.

According to Pitchfork, bassist Twiggy Ramirez — Jeordie White — of Marilyn Manson has been accused of rape by fellow musician Jessicka Addams. Addams, the Jack Off Jill singer shared a detailed and fairly graphic Facebook post about her relationship and alleged rape by White.

Addams talks about her experience being in close quarters with her alleged rapist and even touring with Marilyn Manson after the fact. Manson responded to her story with the following statement: “I knew Jessicka and Jeordie had a romantic relationship many years ago and I considered and still consider Jessicka to be a friend,” he said. “I knew nothing about these allegations until very recently and am saddened by Jessicka’s obvious distress.”

“He forced me on to the floor with his hand around my neck. I said NO. I said NO. I said it so loud enough, that Pete came rushing in from the other room to get him off of me. But I had been raped. I had been raped by somebody I thought I loved.”

In her post, Addams explains that they met when she was 18 years old, and moved in together relatively quickly after that. Addams lived with both White and Pete, a mutual friend who noticed the distressful relationship between herself and White, and often protected her from White’s temper.  She was in what she thought was a normal relationship with White based on the way she was brought up by her abusive father. Progressively overtime, White became more and more abusive, both verbally and physically.

“The physical abuse did not start until a few months later when Jeordie took a cage full of our pet white mice and dumped them into my mother’s car that I was borrowing at the time. That is the first day I can remember him hitting me over me over and over as the mice scattered.” Read her full story below.

Addams goes on to encourage other women who have been victims of rape or sexual assault either by White or other men, to come forward and assured them that they are not alone, and that she is not alone either.

White left Manson’s band in 2002 before returning in 2008. He had previously also performed in Nine Inch Nails and A Perfect Circle.

UPDATE (10/27): Following allegations of rape by Jessicka Addams, Marilyn Manson has fired White from his band.
