Morbid Angel Forced To Cancel European Tour Due To Passport Issues And Problems With The U.S. State Department

Fans of the death metal veteran act Morbid Angel got some rather sad news today. The band has been forced to cancel their previously scheduled European tour. The band was scheduled to tour Europe throughout November and December, but released a statement saying that wouldn’t be the case anymore. “We apologize to our promoters and fans and hope to be able to solve this in 2018.”

According to the band, the tour was canceled due to “continued problems with the U.S. State Department and passport issues.” For diehard fans, this wouldn’t be the first time they received such news. Morbid Angel previously had to scrap its European appearances for summer fests due to what they also called “unfortunate and last-minute unforeseen problems with a passport for one of the members of the band.”

Morbid Angel recently released a brutal new single “Piles of Little Arms,” from their upcoming album Kingdoms Disdained.
