Tom DeLonge and His UFO Academy is Starting A Crowdfunding Campaign To Build A Spaceship

Move over, Elon Musk. Today Tom DeLonge announced he will be crowfunding not a new album, but a spaceship. Yes, the 2017 UFO researcher of the year has made public his plans to build a spacecraft capable of “travel instantaneously through Space, Air and Water by engineering the fabric of Space-Time.” You can find more info in the video below, where he goes over the plan in more depth.

DeLonge left Blink 182 a couple years back in order to focus on his true passion: aliens. “I can’t tour nine months out of the year with enough time to do the enormity of what I’m setting out to do,” DeLonge said in 2015. “When you’re an individual like me … dealing with something that’s a national security issue, and you’re being gifted with the opportunity to communicate something you’ve been passionate about your whole life — something that has the opportunity to change the world over time — being a small part of that is enormously important for my life path.” Since then, he’s written a book, contacted the Clintons, and even started his own UFO education program.

According to their website, the organization is against the suffocation of “mainstream ideology and bureaucratic constraint” which has suppressed research in the past. Even if you think they’re crazy, they’re not alone. So far, $384,773 has been crowdfunded. Hell, maybe the truth is out there.
