According to Grimy Goods, iHeartRadio has announced their inaugural lineup for their ALTer Ego music festival. Alternative rock fans across the country will be excited about this one. The bands chosen for this years event are truly symbolic to the genre, and the only objective for this years festival is “to celebrate everything alternative rock.”
The National is on the bill with their new album Sleep Well Beast, and are touring this year and next, along with Walk The Moon who just announced tour dates for early 2018. Beck and Spoon are amongst the others with new albums out this year, Beck with Colors and Spoon with Hot Thoughts. Cage the Elephant, Mumford & Sons and Dashboard Confessional are also included on the ticket with albums as recent as 2015 and 2009. The festival will take place Sunday, January 19th.
