Providence-based alt rock darlings Deer Tick have released a new music video for their song “Cocktail.” The track is from the band’s upcoming record Deer Tick Vol. 1, which is just one of the two records they released September 15th, the other being, obviously, Deer Tick Vol. 2.
These albums were the first new material from the Americana rock band in four years, and the reaction has been largely critical from Consequence of Sound to NPR.
The clip for “Cocktail” features a cool montage of various film footage of the band throughout its history, from the early years of its inception right up until this year. It includes a great deal of behind the scenes footage, as well as “personal and fun” moments that fans are sure to be dying to see.
