Alice Cooper has just released dates for his 2018 tour in March. The North American tour, titled “A Paranormal Evening with Alice Cooper,” will start in Canada and wrap up in America. The tour will showcase new songs off of his latest album Paranormal. The album was notable for marking Cooper’s return to the music scene after six years, and for featuring iconic rockers such as Larry Mullen Jr. of U2, Billy gibbons of ZZ Top, Roger Glover of Deep Purple and most importantly original members of the band, Alice Cooper. The album, which was Cooper’s 27th studio album, was a commercial hit in the US as well as many other international countries.
According to Cooper’s interview with Blabber Mouth and Spokesman Review, the shows will be theatrical, unnerving and high-energy. Fans can expect to see Cooper staples such as guillotines and straight jackets, but should also expect to see newer stage additions such as a 13 foot Frankenstein. No need to hit the theaters, horror fans can get their fill of thrills on Cooper’s tour.
Cooper also noted that he is working with a top-notch touring band who he believes will make the upcoming tour, “better than all the others.” If fans are lucky, Cooper may even bring some original members on stage also. Cooper has reunited with his original bandmates three times over the past two years. Considering they are featured on his latest album, the chances are even better for fans. Regardless, the show is sure to be legendary and one-of-a-kind.
