Pedro The Lion Announces Winter 2017 Reunion Tour Dates

It’s been over 10 years since Pedro The Lion split up. Formed all the way back in ‘95, the indie rock band from Seattle put out 4 albums and amassed a devoted fanbase in their decade active. Yet, the success couldn’t keep them together. In early January 2006, Pedro the Lion formally announced that they had split, and David Bazan, founding and only consistent member was going solo. Over the years, David Bazan continued to work with past Pedro The Lion members (there were 22 over the course of the band), especially Tim Walsh. The two even recently put out tape together, you can check out our review of it here!

Well, after all these years, today Pedro The Lion has announced reunion tour dates. The announcement came via David Bazan’s Twitter this morning with the simple caption: “Here we go”. As of now, he is only playing two venues in the Pacific Northwest, and each venue twice. Who knows if these are just some shows for fun, or if the project is fully back up-and-running.

TOUR DATES:
12/16-17 – Portland, OR @ Mississippi Studios
12/21-22 – Seattle, WA @ Tractor Tavern
