GAS @ Union Transfer 12/18

GAS is the solo musical project of the Wolfgang Voigt. The German electronic musician has continued to use ambient, minimal ambient, and psychedelia to showcase his work. Wolfgang’s hometown has been a huge impact in his music career. Wolfgang’s goal has to use nature as a way to tap into the minds of fans. GAS released his fifth studio album, Narkopop, back in April 2017. In addition to his albums, GAS has released two EPs. GAS continues to tour in support of the album.

While GAS is one of Wolfgang’s best-known aliases, Wolfgang has over 20 projects. Some of Wolfgang’s projects include Crocker, Studio 1, Tal, Vinyl Countdown, M:I:5, and many more. GAS has released all 5 of his studio albums under his very own record label, Kompakt. In 1996, GAS released his self-titled album. The following year, GAS released his second studio album. GAS toured his local hometown in support of the album. GAS’ music has been described as a mixture of soul and ambient music. In 2016, GAS rereleased all his previous albums in a collectors box.

Wolfgang has continued to shape the genres of today. GAS preforms using MIDI and Ableton products. Wolfgang has used almost every landscape sound in his music. GAS has been considered as one of Wolfgang’s most loving project. Wolfgang has been known to use classical vibes into his music.

Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
