Banks Releases Compelling New Song “Underdog”

After the release of her second album The Altar, singer/songwriter Banks has been on go mode, touring the country and hitting stages in different cities like San Francisco, Philadelphia or even music festivals like SXSW with a presence that reminds the crowd why the young pop singer’s force can be felt throughout the pop world. It seems as if Banks has decided to apply more force to the pop world by sharing some new music with her brand new song “Underdog.”

According to a press release, “Underdog” continues to affirm BANKS as one of the most compelling American artists around and with synthesizing horns and her emotionally filled raspy voice it may be onto something. Banks creates a dark pop tune that tells the story of rekindled flame with her new track. The thought of relighting the spark that Banks and her lover once had seems so impossible to her that she views her old flame as an underdog for attempting revive it.
