Anticipation for The Horrors’ latest effort V has been steadily rising these past few months. Earlier this month, the English rock band unveiled their third single off their fifth studio album. The new album which was released last week has already seen two tracks gaining high praise and now as fans begin to hit replay on their their records, that anticipation fans had was worth it.
The new track, “Something To Remember Me By” offers a steady tempo with twinkling instrumentals buoyed by a steady bass line. The video was directed by Mark Weiland. “This video is a comment on society’s obsession with celebrity and the music industry’s attempt to take advantage of that,” says Weiland about the themes of the clip.
The Horrors previously shared single “Something To Remember Me By,” which was unvieled last month.
The Horrors returned to the US for two back to back intimate shows in New York on September 18th & 19th at the Rough Trade. Next month, The Horrors will head out on a tour of the UK and Ireland, taking stops in Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, London and more along the way. Tickets for these shows can be purchased here.
