The golden glow of Hiss Golden Messenger was a good way to start out day two of Music Midtown, followed shortly after by an energetic set from Judah and the Lion, who take folk to the next level. Atlanta natives Collective Soul announced a new album and played some old favorites as well as upcoming tracks to the crowd’s delight before Two Door Cinema Club induced dance vibes with audience favorites such as “What You Know” and “Something Good Can Work.” HAIM and Bastille then took the stage before Future and Mumford and Sons battled it out for the headlining slot. Music Midtown attendees were split fairly evenly between the two, with hundreds of thousands gathered around each stage.
