Geoff Rickly of Thursday Announces ACLU Benefit Show in New York City

According to Brooklyn Vegan Geoff Rickly, frontman of Thursday, will perform at a ACLU benefit on September 22nd. The benefit titled, Band Together: A Concert Against Hate, will be help in Queens at the Knockdown Center. The show will also feature Dave Elkins of Mae, French Horn Rebellion, and Janelle Kroll. All the proceeds of the concert will go to the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union), a nonpartisan and nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting individual liberties that are promised by the Constitution. Rickly is rumored to be planning benefit performances with some special guests.

Since their reunion in 2016, Thursday has been busy touring with the likes of Frank Iero, of My Chemical Romance, and PUP. Thursday have stated that after their tour wraps up in 2018, they will only continue touring if they make new music which is still uncertain. In the meantime you can catch them in Long Island on the 28th of December, and in New Jersey on the 30th of December.
