Hayley Williams of Paramore Acoustically Covers “Accident Prone” by Jawbreaker

This past weekend, punk trios Paramore and Jawbreaker were both scheduled to play at Riot Fest. Unfortunately for fans of both bands, they were scheduled at the same time according to Stereogum. Jawbreaker, the DIY ’90s punk band, has been disbanded since 1996. This year marks the 21 year reunion of the band.

Even Paramore frontrunner, Hayley Williams, tweeted about her frustration with missing their historic and noteworthy set: ““The fact that our set time at Riot Fest overlaps a bit with jawbreaker is my slow but certain death. i hope you all see jawbreaker for me.”

Fortunately for fans of both bands, Williams followed up that tweet with an acoustic cover of Jawbreaker’s hit song “Accident Prone.” Williams casually lays down in her tour bus, and strums along to the melancholic punk tune.

Paramore will continue to tour After Laughter up until the 17th of October.
