WAVVES is a punk rock band based in San Diego, California. The band was formed in 2008 by front-man, Nathan Williams. Williams had started the band as a project. There was a few members that joined and left the band. Currently, three other members are alongside Williams to complete the band: Stephen Pope on bass, Alex Gates on guitar and Brian Hill on drums.

The band has released six studio albums. Williams had started his own music blog, Ghost Ramp, which turned into a record label. You’re Welcome is the latest record that was out this past May; it was also the first album to be released by Ghost Ramp. “The Lung” is WAVVES most recent single that was out on September 14th.
