Sampha Wins the 2017 Mercury Prize

It’s been a spectacular year for British singer/songwriter/producer Sampha. After dropping EPs such as Sundanza in 2010 and Dual in 2013 the electronic alternative r&b singer released his debut album Process earlier this year this past February. Since it’s release the album has received widespread claim from music critics such as Rolling Stone, AllMusic, The Guardian and Entertainment Weekly.
