Steve Adam Markowitz, known also by his stage name Hoodie Allen, is an American rapper. Over a span of 3 years, Hoodie Allen released numerous mixtapes and EPs. All American, Hoodie Allen’s debut EP, was released in 2012. The EP peaked at no. 10 on Billboard 200. Hoodie Allen released his debut studio album, People Keep Talking, in October 2014. Hoodie Allen’s debut album peaked at the top of the charts. Hoodie Allen released his second album, Happy Camper, in 2016. Hoodie Allen is currently an independent artist with no record label.

After working at Google full time, Hoodie Allen decided to leave in order to pursue his passion for music full time. In the beginning, Hoodie Allen released various mixtapes sampling some today’s pop artists like Two Door Cinema Club, Ellie Goulding, Death Cab for Cutie, and others. Hoodie Allen’s third mixtape, Leap Year, helped push his career further. During its first week release, Leap Year surpassed over 250,000 streams on SoundCloud. Hoodie Allen went on to headline a nationwide tour with 15 cities. The band Fortune Family was the opening act for a few shows. All American was released April 10, 2012, debuting at no. 1 on iTunes chart. Between April and May, Hoodie Allen went on a limited city tour in support of the album. Hoodie Allen went on tour with fellow rapper G-Eazy in the fall of 2012.

People Keep Talking, Hoodie Allen’s debut album was released on May 7, 2014. Hoodie Allen went on a worldwide tour in support of the album. Later that year, Hoodie Allen would tour with Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa on their Boys of Zummer tour. Hoodie Allen released his second album, Happy Camper, in 2016. The album peaked at no. 1 on US Rap Albums chart and no. 2 on US R&B Albums chart. The album’s lead single, “Are U Having Any Fun” was released prior to the album’s release.

Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
