According to The Prp and Blabbermouth, Italian gothic metal band Lacuna Coil will be celebrating their 20th anniversary this January with a special one off show in London at the O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. The event, dubbed “Nothing Stands in Our Way” will see the band performing a host of rare songs that have never been played live before in addition to having an enhanced stage production and circus arts as part of the show. The concert will also feature plenty of other songs spanning the entirety of the band’s career, with plenty of surprises thrown in for good measure. The show will be recorded for a release later next year.

The band commented: “We are very excited to celebrate our twentieth anniversary with an exclusive live show on January 19th in London! London is a very special city for us — it welcomed us with open arms when we started twenty years ago and we feel it’s the perfect place to invite our fans from all over the world to celebrate with us. As for what will happen… that’s a surprise; you’ll have to come and see for yourselves!”

Lacuna Coil is currently on a North American tour with Dutch symphonic metal band Epica, the band’s first U.S. dates in over year as the group continues to tour in support of their 2016 release, Delirium.
