Walter TV is a Canadian surf metal band from Vancouver. The group formed in 2011. The dudes of Walter TV are Pierce McGarry on vocals and guitar, Joe McMurray on drums and Simon Ankenman on bass.  McGarry and McMurray used to be in Mac Demarco’s band prior to Walter TV. Likewise to Peter Sager (Homeshake), who was also in Demarco’s band a few years back, they all have a that Demarco feel to their music; the typical slacker-rock, jazzy tunes that drive fans crazy.

The trio have released two records since the start, Appetite in 2014 and Blessed in 2015. Walter TV is following up from 2015 with their next record, Carpe Diem, that will be out on September 8th via Sinderlyn. Three singles from the new album have been released for fans to anxiously await for the new arrival.
