According to ThePRP, The Hollywood Palladium is getting Misfit fans excited, by teasing a possible reunion show for December 30th at their venue on Instagram.
The band did reunite last year for a few performances with band members Glenn Danzig, Jerry Only and Doyle being accompanied by Dave Lombardo from Suicidal Tendencies, Dead Cross, and ex-Slayer and Acey Slade who used to play with the band Dope.
After breaking up in 1983 each of the original band members have been doing their own thing. Glenn Danzig is currently in production and finishing an album of Elvis songs and has recently released his eleventh solo album Black Laden Crown. Jerry Only released his solo album Friday The 13th last year, and Doyle has released his solo album Doyle II: As We Die.
UPDATE: The Misfits have officially confirmed they will reunite as “The Original Misfits” to perform a special concert at The Forum in Los Angeles on December 30th.
Drummer Dave Lombardo shared the news on Twitter, he is expected to fill in once again.
