Dead Cross, the hardcore supergroup featuring lead singer Mike Patton, drummer Dave Lombardo, Justin Pearson of The Locust and Michael Crain of Retox, are in the middle of their first-ever tour. Last night in Houston, TX, members of the band were handcuffed and detained by police officers. While handcuffed, the band’s gear was searched.
According to a press release, the band has been advised by their attorneys to refrain from any further comment on the matter. The release also states that more information will be released from officials following arraignment.
The band shared a photo from last night on their Facebook page, which shows Pearson and Crain in handcuffs with officers between them and a van.
The band has several remaining dates on their tour. According to the press release, the band will continue on their tour as scheduled, with an appearance at Emo’s in Austin tonight.
