A music festival in south London went horribly wrong this weekend, and neither Billy McFarland or Ja Rule had anything to do with it this time. According to a wave of social media reports, thousands of excited festival goers showed up to Brockwell Park and were stuck waiting to gain entry to the Sunfall festival for an upwards of five hours without food, water, or bathrooms. Before long, frustrated attendees began stampeding the barricades surrounding the festival and police were forced to “enforce crowd control” amid crowd crushing.
Other witnesses reported fights breaking out, and one even said they felt “lucky to be alive” after the ordeal.
In response, the organizer’s official Twitter account said “for everyone’s health and safety, heightened security/search measures have been put in place. This is causing some delay on entrance.” They also mentioned that “additional resources” were being “put in place to try and speed up the entry process.”
Branding itself as “A new festival for London,” the second annual Sunfall Festival’s lineup featured Antal, Beautiful Swimmers, Gop Ton, Helena Hauff, K15, and Theo Parrish.

After travelers showed up to the remote island with emergency FEMA tents, zero running water, and food that was barely edible, social media began blowing up and the “luxury music festival” hit the mainstream as one of the worst festival experiences in the history of music. Organizer Billy McFarland was even arrested after the ordeal for wire fraud and faces up to 20 years in prison.
