As reported by Blabbermouth, Faith No More frontman Mike Patton made his onstage debut with his new side project Dead Cross at the Observatory in Santa Ana, California.

While Patton was not originally a member of the group, which features ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo, he was asked to join the group while they were in the recording stages of their self-titled debut album, which was released earlier this year on Patton’s Ipecac Recordings label.

Helmed by the legendary producer Ross Robinson (Limp Bizkit, Korn, At the Drive-In) Dead Cross is a punishing record that features plenty of rampaging hardcore punk influenced tracks which highlight the booming power of Lombardo’s drums and Patton’s vocals. You can check out footage of the concert in the player below.
