EMA Releases Haunting Slow-Burning New Song “Blood And Chalk”

EMA’s newest track “Blood and Chalk” brings a haunting, slow-burning track to her new album Exile in the Outer Ring.” Her newest song “Blood and Chalk” had it’s debut from EMA’s upcoming album Exile in the Outer Ring yesterday. It was originally written for the #Horror Soundtrack. EMA says she wrote the lyrics very quickly and it’s supposed to encapsulate the feelings of a 12-year old girl who is starting to grow up.

The new album is going to be released August 25, 2017 via City Slang. Exile in the Outer Ring is following the successful albums EMA released: Past life Martyred Saints and The Future’s Void. Her hit single “California” brought her name to the surface of the music scene. Now she’s ready to release yet another album.

Four songs have been released so far off of her new album, “Aryan Nation,” “Breathalyzer,” “Down and Out” and the most recent “Blood and Chalk.  As her new album is released, Erika M. Anderson (EMA) is getting ready for her tour starting on October 26 in Seattle, Washington. The tour will be making stops in Los Angeles on October 31 and winding through the United States. She will hit up Brooklyn, Atlanta, Dallas and parts of Canada as well. The full tour has over 40 stops in the United Kingdom, Denmark, The United States and Canada.
