Open Mike Eagle @ Barracuda 9/17

The Chicago native alternative rapper, Open Mike Eagle, classifies his music as ‘art rap.’ After gaining a degree in psychology and spent a year in grad school at Southern Illinois University, Eagle moved to Los Angeles and soon began on his rap career in 2004. Not only does he work on his solo career, he is also a part of three other groups too. Project Blowed is an underground hip hop open mic and record label based in LA that Eagle is affiliated with. Eagle is also a part of the musical groups Swim Team and Thristy Fish.

Eagle has released albums under his solo career as well as with his collaborative groups. Five albums and  several EPs have been released under Open Mike Eagle, two albums with Thirsty Fish and one album with Swim Team. He will be releasing his new album Brick Body Kids Still Daydream on September 15^th via Mellow Music Group.  On July 31^st, Eagle put out his first single from the new album “95 Radios.”
