Foo Fighters surprised concertgoers at Lollapalooza Friday night with a three-and-a-half hour, 32 song performance at the Metro Theater. As reported by SPIN and Billboard, the band played fan favorites from their entire discography as well as songs from their upcoming album, Concrete and Gold. The Foo Fighters and Perry Farell also covered Jane Addiction’s hit record, “Mountain Song”, from their 1988 classic album, Nothing’s Shocking.
The Foo Fighters performed four new songs titled, “The Sky Is a Neighborhood”, “Run”, “La Dee Da”, and “Sunday Rain.” Besides “Mountain Song”, the band also covered “Miss You” by The Rolling Stones, “Under Pressure” by Queen, “Stay With Me” by the band Faces, “Breakdown” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and “Let There Be Rock” by AC/DC.
