Four Tet Releases Thumping New Electronic Dance Song “Planet”

British musician Kieran Hebden, better known by his stage name Four Tet, has released a new song titled, “Planet.” The song, a bit over 7 minutes in length, is a chill electronic number, which features a soothing beat and various guitar strings being played through out.

Four Tet is a rock and electronic musician from England. He first released music as a member of the band Fridge before becoming a solo artist. As a solo artist he’s released eight albums since his debut Dialogue in 1999.

According to Mixmag, the artist has plans to release a new album later this year. Four Tet made the announcement on Annie Mac’s show on Radio 1 yesterday. Four Tet told Annie Mac that he had been “making music for the past 10 months”. He did not reveal the album title or any hints about what it would sound like.

Four Tet’s last album was Beautiful Rewind over four years ago. The artist did, however, release an EP titled, The Morning/Evening. He also collaborated with Melbourne based producer Designer for a split release via Text Records.
