Kevin Morby is an indie-folk singer songwriter from Kansas City. He is currently based in Los Angeles, formerly residing in Brooklyn, NYC. Before Morby started his solo career in 2013, he was a part of Woods and The Babies. Pitchfork describes Morby as, “These days, he’s a songwriter of such elegance and gentle wisdom that he can make a record interrogating the concepts they proposed- heroism, definition, belonging- while remaining sincerely convicted about their performance.”

As the bass player of the Woods and the frontman of The babies, he released a few albums with both bands. Since the start of Morby’s solo career, he has released four studio albums. His latest record, City Music, was out on June 16^th. Morby is currently signed to Woodsist and Dead Oceans. During his performances, he is joined with a live band consisting of Meg Duffy on guitar, Cyrus Gengras on bass and Nick Kinsey on drums.
