Converge Return with New 7″ Featuring Blistering New Songs “Eve” and “I Can Tell You About Pain”

It’s been five years since Converge released  All We Love We Leave Behind in 2012.  Members have been involved with projects that have kept them busy in the music industry. They ventured off into their own individual worlds of music, but they are back with something new. It’s a 7″ with two new songs: “I Can Tell You About Pain” and “Eve.” Both songs are unique, but they kept their heavy metal vibe that the band is known for; even after a few years away.

Converge artist Jacob Bannon released a full album under the name “Wear your Wounds.” Him and another bandmember from Converge, Kurt Ballou teamed up with members from  the Red Chord, Sleigh Bells, and Hatebreed recorded a full album together and went on tour in Europe and played 10  shows in two weeks.

Bannon also came out with Deathwish.Inc and Kurt Ballou has been busy producing music.

Mutiod Man includes heavyweights like Steven Brodsky, and Converge drummer Ben Koller. Read about Koller’s adventure finishing Mutiod Man on MXDXN.com.

They have been busy  finishing up Mutoid Man and getting ready to release their new album War Moans. Their hit single, “Melt Your Mind” has a Motorhead feel to it.

They announced their summer tour on MXDWN.com in August 7, 2017.

Since 1990, Converge have taken the role of pioneers in metal/punk music.
Now that all band members are back together again, they’ve come up with some musical magic in the form of a 7″ vinyl.

It has 2 songs on it: One frantic heavy metal one called “I Can Tell You About Pain” and another drawn-out heavy song called “Eve.” There’s a video for “I Can Tell You About Pain” that has a spooky theme depicting a young milk-chugging man in a spooky house.

“Eve” is nearly 8-minutes long but is worth every second. Listen below:

The new 7″ is out on Deathwish,Inc and Epitaph.
