Wolves In The Throne Room have made a great career out of making music that pleases black metal fans. For the past 14 years the Washington state natives have created a huge following by going against the norm by not using traditional black metal traits like the use of pseudonyms and Satanic imagery & corpse painting. By choosing to be different, the group has went on to creating well received albums like “Diadem of 12 Stars,” & rocking out shows with their dark energetic music that opens their fans into a portal of Wolves In The Throne Room’s dreamworld. Well it seems as if the black metal trio, Nathan Weaver, Aaron Weaver & Kody Keyworth, are ready to reopen that portal for their fans again real soon.
About three weeks ago Wolves In The Throne Room announced that the release of their 6th album Thrice Woven would come out later this year on September 22nd. Recently the higlhly respected black metal band dropped a video to their new song “Born From The Serpent’s Eye.” However the good news doesn’t stop just there. According to THEPRP, the black metal group plans to hit the road & headline their own tour in support of their new album. The tour will also include black metal band Pillorian.
