John Mark McMillan is a singer and songwriter specializing in Christain music. John has also performed alternative rock songs while using his passion for religion in various songs. North Carolina based singer released his last album, Borderland back in 2014 under Lionhawk Records. The album sold over 21,000 units within the US reaching the number 7 on Billboard Independent Albums chart, making it John McMillan’s highest selling album to date. John Mark McMillan released a live album titled Live at the Knight in 2015.
John Mark McMillan released his debut album, Hope Anthology, Volume 1 in 2002. Even though the album didn’t chart, the album was well received in the Christan community. The same year, John McMillan was featured on a live album titled Awake with various other artists. In 2005, John Mark McMillan released his second album, The Song Inside: The Sounds of Breaking Down. The album featured the hit single, “How He Loves”, which was highly successful in the church community as a worship song. John Mark McMillan’s first chart topping album didn’t come until 2010. John McMillan released his third album titled The Medicine on July 6, 2010, his first album under a record label (Integrity Media). The album reached the number 8 spot on Billboard US Christan Rock Albums Chart. The album reached number 185 on Billboard 200 Chart.
John Mark McMillan followed up his 2010 album with Economy, his fourth album. The album was released November 1, 2011, with much anticipation. This would be John McMillan’s second and final album with Integrity Media Records. The album did far better than its predecessor, earning the 6th spot on US Christan Rock Albums chart. The album peaked at number 95 on Billboard 200. In 2014, John Mark McMillan released his fifth album, Borderland. The album was released under John’s own label, Lionhawk Records and reached the 3rd spot on US Christan Rock Albums Chart.
