The Coathangers

There is always a good time for a cold Pabst Blue Ribbon especially during a concert. Well, for those attending Project Pabst will have plenty of those on hand during it’s festival run.

The organization that is behind Project Pabst is coming back for another installment of the festival series that will be set for September 16th, 2017. Today, the people behind Project Pabst have announced the full line-up for the Philadelphia’s festival which will feature heavy hitting performances from Action Bronson, The Menzingers, Peaches, Big Thief, Speedy Ortiz, Nothing, The Coathangers and more.

The punk trio from Atlanta, the Coathangers recently released their EP of Parasite this past month will have set at this year’s festival. Another band to hit the stage at Project Pabst is The Menzingers, the band released their album, After the Party earlier this year will show off their new music at the festival.

Produced by Superfly and sponsored by Pabst Brewing Company and Stubhub, Project Pabst was created in 2014 and has continued to bring engaging experience every year. It seems like Project Pabst is everywhere with the event expanding to four cities last year wth events in Denver, Portland, Philadelphia and Atlanta. This year, Project Pabst plans to return to each one again.

An unique experience is to be had at Project Pabst as the festival combines music, art, hands-on interactive elements, as well as food and beer at a reasonable “non-festival” prices. Those with tickets will be entertained with old school video games in the PBRcade, the PBR Vandalism interactive graffiti art display, and Pabst Wax – an on-the-spot pressing of vinyl recordings that the fans can create themselves. The one day festival will have something for everyone, an interactive day of fun that no one will want to miss.

At last year’s event, it was held in the parking lot of The Electric Factory but due to impending weather, the Philly’s event will occur inside.

Tickets for Project Pabst Philadelphia are currently available at $20 a piece and can be purchased via the festival website The festival is co-produced by AEG Live and is strictly for those 21 and over. Doors for the festival will open at 12pm on Saturday, September 16 with the show starting at 1pm.
