Daniel Avery collaborated with Alessandro Cortini to produce a new song called “Water.” Avery already has a collection of over 100 songs and “Water” is another great addition. The UK techno artist and Los Angeles-based Italian synth obsessive (and Nine Inch Nails member) got together to “explore their shared love of industrial drones and expansive electronics,” according to a press release for Sun Draw Water.
Cortini, who is a master of electronic noise and performas a synth player in Nine Inch Nails, has worked with Avery for the past few months putting this piece together.
Avery says that he is a huge fan of Alessandro’s work and was very excited to share this music with him. On SoundCloud, Avery was excited to announce where he will be playing his new limited edition,
“An extremely limited white-label 7″ titled Sun Draw Water will be available first at FYF Festival in LA this weekend where I play on Saturday and NIN headline Sunday night.”
Avery has always had a connection with electronic music and tries to bring the audience away from reality to enjoy the performance.
Avery posted this on his profile on SoundCloud when asked the types of music that he loves to perform. To read more about Daniel Avery, visit his profile here. He says,
“The music that always hits hardest is what I’d consider to be unreal, something that sounds like it comes from another place entirely and moves at its own pace. I want to create those moments where opening your eyes on a dance floor becomes difficult. When the outside world is nothing more than a distant thought.”
