When talking about English rock bands, you have to mention Maximo Park. Since 2000, Maximo Park has released six studio albums. Maximo Park is an England based band with a number of chart-topping hits. The band has recently released their sixth studio album, Risk to Exist in April 2017. The album peaked at number 11 on UK Albums Chart and number 12 on Scottish Albums Chart. Maximo Park has been nominated for 2 Mercury Prize awards for their first two albums.
Maximo Park released their debut LP, A Certain Trigger in 2005. The album was nominated for the Mercury Prize in July 2005. A Certain Trigger peaked at number 15 on UK Albums Chart while only reaching the 45 spot on Scottish Singles and Albums Chart. The album was one of the only two studio albums to be certified gold in the UK. The following year, Maximo Park announced they were working on a new album. In 2007, Maximo Park released their second album, Our Earthly Pleasures. The band went on tour to support the release of the album later in the year. The album did better than their debut, peaking at number 2 in the UK. In 2008, Maximo Park released their third album, Quicken The Heart in 2008.
Since 2011, the band has continued to release music under V2 Record Label. Aside from studio albums, Maximo Park has released collections of their hit singles as special gifts for their fans. Maximo Park has released over 25 music videos for their music. In early 2017, the English band announced their sixth album, Risk to Exist would be released later in the year.
