Acclaimed rap artist Tyler, The Creator, has announced details for his latest release Flower Boy which is due to come out on July 21st on Columbia records. Flower Boy marks the first album from Tyler, The Creator since 2015 and anticipation has been building in recent weeks after the release of the first single off the record, “Who Dat Boy?” which featured A$AP Rocky and “911/Mr. Lonely” which featured Frank Ocean. The album (with different artwork) was originally titled Scum Fuck Flower Boy but that was shortened to a more acceptable Flower Boy by the record label to avoid controversy.

The new album also features contributions from Lil Wayne and Estelle as well as rock band Can. Since the release of Cherry Bomb in 2015, Tyler has been busy working on several different musical and non-musical projects, such as writing the new theme song to Bill Nye Saves the World, releasing a documentary on the recording of Cherry Bomb, and two new television shows for Adult Swim and Viceland.
