Wolf Alice Releases New Spacey 80’s Style Song “Don’t Delete The Kisses”

London-based alternative band, Wolf Alice, released their new single “Don’t Delete The Kisses” this morning. The news came via press release, alongside an update that their current US tour is mostly sold out. “Don’t Delete The Kisses” is the second single off of their upcoming sophomore album, Visions Of A Life, due for release September 25th. Compared to “Yuk Foo”, their last released single, “Don’t Delete The Kisses” is significantly more relaxed and spacey. The sonic contrast between released songs is painting an interesting picture of their upcoming album.

Wolf Alice has been commercially releasing music since 2013, and dropped their breakout album, My Love is Cool, in 2015. Between a Grammy nomination and a top-ten single, the band has seen decent success and acclaim for a group which has only been active for a few years.  While noted for their unique blend of pop, folk, and rock, lead singer, Ellie Rowsell, their new sound is significantly influenced by hardcore music. If the two singles dropped so far are any indicator, Visions Of A Life will be a true cross-genre record.

As for now, Wolf Alice is completing their US tour, before continuing on to Europe. It’s clear the band is staying true to their roots, as they are playing whopping 14 dates in the U.K. alone. If interested, act fast! The majority of US dates are already sold out, and the rest are presumably going fast. Visions Of A Life will be available for streaming, digital purchase, and on CD/Vinyl September 25th.
