Listening to Suicidal Tendencies may cause listeners to have a good time. For fans, the he California thrash/hardcore punk band, Suicidal Tendencies gives off fun vides through their high energy that is made for the stage or maybe just head banging with friends.

Fans can prepare themselves for a fun filled time as the band releases a new video for their song, “Living For Life.” Clips strewn together feature the band performing live at a skate park along with performances on stage. Within the clip shows the frontman, Mike Muir stalking the backstage areas while aggressively singing straight into the camera. The video, “Living For Life” was directed by Pep Williams and edited by Scott O’Malley for Guerilla Press.

The song, “Living For Life” comes straight out from Suicidal Tendencies latest album titled, World Gone Man. The album was released last September and is the follow-up to their 2013’s 13 disk. It was was the band’s first time to feature former Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and guitarist Jeff Pogan. Pogan replaced Nico Santora back in May 2016.

Mike Muir, frontman of Suicidal Tendencies, recently told Full Metal Jackie’s nationally syndicated radio show that the new album might be considered the band’s last ever album. He said that: “I think it’s a whole different process now…we found that, over the years, we record a lot of stuff just because we love doing music and having fun and not necessarily love the aspect of putting it out for other people to hear and judge and whatever.”

He continued: “I think that with ‘World Gone Mad’, I think it’s a perfect statement record to fit in with all what else we’ve done in the past and it’s a good way to end it…I know Dave [Lombardo, Suicidal Tendencies drummer] is… every time we talk, he’s, like, ‘Hey, let’s record something.’ So we’ll always record things. Whether we put it out, I don’t know.”

There was more optimistic views towards the band’s chances of releasing new music from Lombardo who said that; “I hope [there will be more Suicidal Tendencies records]. I really hope. I feel like that guy [Mike Muir] has a lot more creativity in him and a lot more energy than to throw in the towel. I feel Mike is on top of his game, and he’s got a great band and great history with this band and I think that we should keep going, and I hope he does.”

Suicidal Tendencies has announced plans to release a new EP sometime in the Fall. More information on the album will be made available soon.
