The Brighton based group started out back in 2004 and have been riding success ever since. The band’s first studio album was released in 2006 and they broke into the mainstream both in North America and the U.K at the same time. Their most recent release was this year with their first compilation album titled The Best of… So Far. This album is full of the band’s biggest hits to date, such as Be Who You Are, Broken Vow, Naive, Bad Habit, and She Moves In Her Own Way. The Kook’s musical style isn’t confined to their genre, their music is influenced by a variety of talent, almost as if they are working through the decades per every album. Their album Inside In/Outside Out has 60s British pop inspiration where their following sophomore album Konk is heavily influenced by music of the 80s. This band has real skill to show audiences variety and the growth of their sound.
