Andrew Wilkes-Krier, best known to his fans as Andrew W.K. is returning to the stage with his band to showcase a total live concert experience on his new “The Party Never Dies Tour.” It has been five years since the alternative rock singer performed and a decade since releasing new music, there is no doubt that Andrew is making a grand comeback.
The announcement of the tour was given to fans by Andrew privately through Facebook messenger. Along with the announcement of the upcoming tour, Andrew is finishing up creating new music in preparation of his new album, his first in almost a decade.
Considered to be a one-man music machine, Andrew has continued to put his focus on a singular message: “That to party is to exist, and to exist is to party.” Living up to this party animal image, he has embarked on his mission to spread his message that started back in 2001 when he released his debut single “Party Hard.” Since then, he has kept his message and has refused to swerve from it. He has kept this role steady but it’s not the only thing that the musician has going for him. He has also taken a variety of roles sending him head first into virgin territory for a rock ‘n’ roll musician. Some of these roles include a columnist for the Village Voice and Vice, a host of a Cartoon Network game show and a lecturer at Yale, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon and the UK’s Oxford University. In basic terms, there is no signs that Andrew will slow down his partying ways.
Andrew W.K. will start his “The Party Never Dies Tour” on September 14th and will continue to go through deep into November ending on the 18th of that month. The full list of tour dates can be reviewed below and details surrounding the release of Andrew W.K’s new album will be shared to fans as soon as they are revealed.
Fans of Andrew W.K. have the chance to snatch tickets early when pre-sale tickets will be available Wednesday, June 14th at 10 am via Andrew’s website. Tickets for the public will go on sale this Friday, June 16th.
