Torres recently released a new music video for the single “Skim”, which is the first of her music since the release of Sprinter in 2015.
According to the press release, the song’s theme centers around “the relativity of human interactions.” The song itself is described to be a sharp, rhythmic tune with steady beats. The artist has a constant low vocal that rises at the elevation of the guitar beat.
Directed by Ashley Connor, the music video takes place in a suburban house where the artist sings in various places such as the living room, sitting on the sofa playing the guitar, and the lounge, laying on the counter playing the guitar. As the video continues, there are hands that appear touching the artist. As the video progresses there is more touching occurring in the bedroom. The music video can be watched below.
