Julius Dolls – the guitarist and singer/songwriter from Chicago creates beautiful feel good music that reaches beyond a specific genre. The upbeat horns mixed with a grungy guitar, strings and Dolls’ confident smooth voice creates an innovative sound that can be described as music for everybody. He mixes a bit of rap with emo and new age that not only works but creates a cohesive sound for his debut album Life Is Beautiful Sometimes (LIBS). The 9 track album was released last year and can be heard on all streaming sites including SoundCloud, Spotify and Apple Music.
Julius Dolls is set to perform at the 1st Ward at Chop Shop music festival along with Smear Campaign, Paul Brinnel and His Personnal, Crisp and Sprocket. This is a great opportunity to come out to listen and support our local artists. Ticket information below.
