Stefanie Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known by her stage name, Lady Gaga, is heading off on her Joanne World Tour starting in August. Claimed as one of the world’s biggest pop stars, Lady Gaga will be making a spectacular performance at the Frank Erwin Center early December. Lady Gaga is known for her career in music, songwriting and acting. After acting in different plays and dropping out of the Collaborative Arts Project 21 through New York University she began on her music career, and she has sure made quite a name for herself.
Known for her pop hits, stage performances and fashion, Gaga’s fans are always in for a surprise at her shows. With musical influences like David Bowie and Madonna, no wonder Gaga’s outfits are always out of this world. Not only has Gaga won many awards like the Grammy’s, a Golden Globe and more, but she also has twelve Guinness World Records. Joanne is her fifth and most recent record that was out in 2016. Aside from reaching number one in the United States, this album also reached international charts in a few other countries and reached the top ten in more than fifteen territories.
In addition to being very involved in the music world, Gaga is also active in different charities. Gaga has contributed to different organizations dealing with natural disaster relief and fighting against HIV and aids. She is also an LBGT advocate, joined Joe Biden on his “It’s On Us” campaign for college students and made her own organization called “Born This Way Foundation” for the youth.
