Dashboard Confessional w/ All American Rejects @ Festival Pier

Two of the greatest bands from the early 2000s is back sharing the stage this summer! American emo band Dashboard Confessional and rock band All-American Rejects bring some of their biggest hits to the Festival Pier. Over the years, both bands have had their share of success during their careers. Dashboard Confessional released over 6 studio albums while All-American Rejects released 4 albums. Since 2016, All-American Rejects has continued to tour the US while recording their new EP. Dashboard Confessional recently released their new EP, Covered and Taped.

The two bands bring their own unique sounds to the pier. All-American Rejects had hits like, “Move Along”, “Gives You Hell”, and “Dirty Little Secrets” back in the early 2000s. “Gives You Hell” is the band’s most success hit to date, peaking at number 4 on Billboard Hot 100. “Gives You Hell” was certified gold over 4x in the US and other countries. All-American Rejects has sold over 10 million albums during their career. All-American Rejects were ranked number 73 on “Hot 100 Artists of the 2000s”. Dashboard Confessional has had their share of mainstream success as well. Dashboard broke into the mainstream scene with their third album, A Mark, a Mission, a Brand, a Scar. The album peaked at number 2 on the US Billboard chart. In 2010, Dashboard Confessional was the opening act for Bon Jovi Circle Tour. The band also wrote songs for various soundtracks. Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
