The Dutch-born DJ was just ranked the Number 1 DJ on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ List of 2016 at the very young age of 20. Inspired to become a DJ after watching by Tiesto perform for the Olympic games in Athens, the hit-maker is known for popular songs like “Animals”, “In The Name of Love” and “Scared To Be Lonely”. Garrix also finds time in his schedule to give back to those in need. In February, he announced his partnership with SOS Children’s Village in South Africa, a non-profit that builds families for all types of vulnerable children around the world.
And the young artist doesn’t show signs of slowing down as he has a very busy 2017 lined up. In April, Garrix collaborated with Troye Sivan and the two performed together at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. He was also recently named as the resident DJ for Hi Ibiza for the 2017 season.
