I think its safe to say, fans do not mind when an artist decides they want to out out more music. In this generation, artists are surprisingly releasing new music, better yet entire new albums. Starting with Busta Rhymes releasing his album exclusively on Google Play Music, then evolving into artists like Beyonce releasing albums as a surprise. In this case, the artist is Ministry and the surprise announcement is Amerikkkant.

According to PRP, Ministry  has announced that they will be releasing new album in the Fall and later releasing it on the primitive technology known as “vinyl” in January. Of course, with a new album an artists may decide to reach out and collaborate with other artists that they actually listen to instead of following what they think is cool (if you’ve heard that new Katy Perry song featuring the Migos, then you know what I mean). Some of the features will include Fear Factor lead singer Burton C. Bell, one time member of N.W.A, Arabian Prince, Lord of the Cello, and DJ Swamp. Fans can pre-order the album on PledgeMusic with a number of different opportunities, which include a $10,000 dollar remix of your own song by Al Jourgensen.

Founded in Chicago in 1981, Ministry is an industrial metal band that saw their first taste of major commercial success with the album Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way To Suck Eggs in 1992 and later touring with the Lollapalooza festival.

The band will be performing at the Black of the Blackest festival in Southern California on may 26th and May 27th.
