Now Now @ Boots and Saddle 7/10

Now Now, also known as Now, Now Every Children, is an American rock band based in Minnesota. The band currently consist of Cacie Dalager and Bradley Hale. Now Now has released 2 studio albums and numerous EPs in their career. After years of no music, Now Now reappeared on the scene with a new single, “SGL” in March of this year. The band is currently signed with Trans Records as of 2011.

Since 2003, Now Now has continued to make music for the world to hear. The band got its start after Cacie Dalager and Bradley Hale met while in a high school marching band. In 2007, Now Now signed to local Minneapolis record label Afternoon Records. While with the record label, Now Now released two EPs, titled Not One, But Two and In The City in 2008. CEO of Afternoon Records Ian Anderson produced the band’s debut studio album, Cars, at the end of 2008. After the release, Now Now toured with Paramore and made an appearance at The Bamboozle Festival the following year. Now Now left Afternoon Records in 2010 to sign with No Sleep Records. The band then released their self-produced EP, Neighbors in September 2010 and then re-released in December. Now Now went on tour with Gold Motel, Jukebox The Ghost, and various other bands in support of their new EP. The band would switch record labels again in 2011, signing with Trans Record.

Trans Record and Now Now released their second studio album Threads on March 6, 2012. After the release, Now Now toured with The Naked and Famous for their Spring Tour and the pop band fun. for their Summer Tour. Now Now continued to tour with other bands like To Write Love on Her Arm on their US Tour in 2013. In 2015 and 2016, Now Now were to perform at SXSW but withdrew both times. Since then, Now Now has released their first single, “SGL” this past May.

Donovan Wilkins: Donovan Wilkins is a self-taught photographer and published writer. He lives in Glenside after moving from his hometown of Philadelphia. After studying Liberal Arts at CCP, he decided to focus his time on his writing and photography. In 2016, Donovan completed his first feature-length screenplay, The Coast is Clear. During his career, Donovan worked on a small budget film in Philadelphia as part of a writing team. Since then, he has written various short screenplays.
